Victoria and Albert Museum | London

Last Sunday,  I visited the Victoria and Albert museum in London, with my family. It is the world's largest decorative arts and design museum and it also has a whole section on fashion (the true reason why I wanted to go). It was very different to what I expected, however it was so interesting and I learnt a lot of new things. The fashion part, photos will be shown below, was definitely the highlight go the day and I enjoyed looking at all of the fashion pieces from years ago up until the present day. The art was also insane, there were old fashioned staircases which were beautiful and the museum as a whole is built in such a detailed, beautiful way.

Fashion Part:

I can't remember what year these are from but old fashioned clothes are some of my favourites.

Can we just take a moment to look at how beautiful this dress is, I would love to try this on!

These were some of my favourite pieces from the fashion collection, I love the colour schemes, take me back to these days :)

If you're in London or have the opportunity then make sure to have a look round, it is huge and I'd be surprised if there isn't a section that doesn't interest you. I would definitely go back as I did not go around the whole of the museum and my dad doesn't like looking at the writing in museums so we were in a bit of a rush to get out. I would love to return to look at everything in more detail, etc...

Let me know in the comments if you have ever been to the V&A museum or if your planning to go!
