What I Eat In A Day | June

Hey everyone!

So i'm back with another fitness post, it's been awhile since my last fitness related post and as it's something you know i'm passionate about so I thought i'd write another one. Personally, I love reading "What I eat in a day" blog posts and watching youtube videos, especially Niomi Smarts! I eat differently each day and try to eat the cleanest diet possible. If you would be interested in more posts like this then please leave a comment and i'll take all your ideas into consideration!

So here is my what I eat in a day - June:

I love having breakfast while editing on the laptop or watching Youtube videos! I always start of with a large glass of water with ice (add lemon for detox) and sometimes a cup of fruit tea - I don't like normal tea... I find that this wakes me up and gets me in the mood to start the day. The tea i'm drinking at the moment, as you can see from the picture, is supposed to give you energy so it's a great alternative to coffee, which i'm also obsessed with!

I will then grab myself a quick breakfast if it's before school or sometimes, if I have enough effort, a larger breakfast. This day, I opted for a quick one, but trust me this is the best granola I have ever had!

Mid-Morning Snack

I knew it wouldn't be long until these were going to be mentioned on my blog. No word of a lie, they're actually the best drinks ever, like ever, especially when you can't have dairy! They are plant based and taste soo good. These are like my weekly treats, I get 3 a week and honestly they're gone after 1 or 2 days!

This is such a filling and simple lunch which will take about 5 minutes to prepare. The only thing I would say is that if you can't eat plain food you may want to add sauce as it is a little bland. All you need is 1 small avocado, cherry tomatoes and mixed beans (or any of your choice). I love this for a quick lunch and it fills me up until my afternoon snack which is a surprise as i'm usually always hungry!

Afternoon Snack

I've only recently come across these RITZ crackers and i'm in loveee with them. I usually eat crackerbread crackers, which don't get me wrong, I love but when I am craving something a little more flavoursome these are full of it! To make it even better I add hummus and peanut butter, two of my favourite dips by far. These make a great snack and keep me full until dinner.

I wasn't particularly hungry this evening so I decided to go for a light but nutritious dinner. I am obsessed with mushrooms at the moment so that definately topped of the meal.

  1. Heat a pan with olive oil and add mushrooms for 5 minutes, stirring frequently.
  2. Add Worcester sauce before removing from the pan.
  3. Peel and cut sweet potatoes into chunks, however big you want, and add to a pan of boiling water. Boil for 10 minutes then drain and add to your plate.
  4. Create a side salad of your choice and add french dressing or salad cream for extra flavour!
  5. EAT!

I love something refreshing at the end of the day. This is the perfect end to the day as it fills me up completely if i'm still hungry and sorts out any cravings which I may be having. I personally use plain soy yoghurt but feel free to use whatever you have available. Top with your favourite fruits and enjoy!

So that's my food done for the day! I hope you enjoyed this style of post and if you would want more 'What I eat in a day posts' then leave a comment below...
